Kaichou wa maid-sama!

Image

Misaki Ayuzawa comes from very poor family. Her father left her family including her sister Suzuna and her mother, years ago. She is very hardworking and excels in everything including academics and Aikido (a form of Japanese defense martial arts). With her will and determination, she becomes the first female president of Seika High School, which was once all boys school, famous for notorious and wild students and has recently become co-ed. She is very strict with guys especially those who break rules. And she hates this guy named Usui Takumi who happens to be the most handsome, intelligent and popular guy of the school because he always rejects the girls who confess to him in the most ridiculous way (as she sees it) and makes them cry. Misaki is too sympathetic towards girls.

Usui discovers Misaki working in Maid Latte, the cafe as maid against school rules. Instead of telling this to anyone, he makes her his secret everyday source of entertainment. Thus starts a captivating story where Usui helps Misaki keep her secret a secret, makes her realize her shortcomings, helps her with Student Council’s work and makes her fall in love with him. Usui, too, has a complicated past. He has ties with the Duke of Britain as illegitimate grandchild. Amidst Misaki’s problems and Usui’s past chasing him, how love blooms between these two and how they keep up with their lives despite so many hurdles is the story of this manga by Fujiwara Hiro.

Favorite Moments!! ^^

Image

“I’m actually a hardcore otaku who likes maids more than having three meals a day. And I only read books related to maids. Also, I only visit maid cafes. Of course, I also collect maid figurines. I play games which feature female maids and it turns me on so much. Then I’ll wear the maid uniforms and jump in joy. I’ll take my leave now.” -Usui Takumi

Usui rejecting a girl because he has eyes only for Misa-chan ♥

Image

“Don’t touch her because she’s darn cute” -Usui Takumi ♥

“I have decided not to abandon. No matter what kind of path I choose, if some sort of sacrifice must be made, it is only Ayuzawa who will not sacrifice. Because I think if I am with Ayuzawa, I can overcome anything.” ~Usui Takumi

Fairy Tail : Favorite character

Erza Scarlet

Image  Image ImageErza aka Titania is a strict person, often criticizing the bad behaviour and habits of the other guild members; causing most of them to apologise fearing that they might invoke her wrath! B)

Image

She is also impatient and dislike people who do not answer her questions quickly enough. Erza had a tragic childhood resulting in social awkwardness towards her guildmates. However, she has a great sense of justice and is proud of being a Fairy Tail member. Erza is full is passion, cool, strong and beautiful. She tries to live her life in her own clumsy way. (Y)

Image She can be a little scary at times; but is full of kindness, warmth and brightness. She secretly loves Jellal, but does not show her feelings. ♥ Erza is admired for her ability to requip, sword magic, telekinesis, Lightning Magic (whilst using Lightning Empress Armor), Fire Magic (whilst using Flame Empress Armor), and Water Magic (whilst using Sea Empress Armor).

My Favorite Erza quotes :

  • “My companions make my heart strong. If I’m fighting for those I love, I care not what happens to this body.”

Image

  • “As long as you laugh at people’s suffering, your goal will always be out of reach. If you never want to be defeated, you must first learn your own weakness, and always be kind.”
  • “Bury the pain of losing your loved ones… into the arms of your friends.”
  • “It is always sad to part with those whom you love, but your companions will help you bear that sadness.”

Ao No Exorcist

Image

ImageImage

What sets Ao no Exorcist apart is that it is typical shounen, but done well. The main character is a hot headed brat (Rin Okumura), but he’s well fleshed out and has good development and reasons for his actions. The show inevitably ends up at an academy, but school assignments that the characters have to do are fun, interesting and lead to quite a bit of character development.

The big problem is that this series is way too epic for what it wants to be. On one hand it aims for high school hijinks and a look at exorcists in training, and on the other it is involved in an international plot involving to purge the strongest demon known to man: Satan. The main character may be Satan’s son and all, but the two parts don’t mesh at all and leave a terribly divided series.

The part of the series that suffers the least is the one that focuses on the high school. It is not ambitious, however it is fun, the characters are genuine and they have a great chemistry between them. The plot against Satan, unfortunately, is horribly rushed, with in the end Satan magically forgetting to use a lot of his powers in order to actually prevent the main cast from not instantly dying. This series is based on a manga, but decides to go with its own storyline for its final third. While that is not immediately a bad thing, it just does not work here.

Ao No Exorcist has great soundtracks. Hats off to Hiroyuki Sawano! 😀

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Image

“Feelings of love are just a temporary lapse in judgment. Like a mental illness. Even I get in the mood for that stuff now and then. I am a healthy girl; my body has its urges. But I won’t let a momentary slip up leave me with a burden.” ~Haruhi Suzumiya

Hello world!

Welcome to my anime blog ! ^^

I decided to write this anime blog because anime is my life!! ♥ Yes Yes, I breathe japanese animation! tehee =3

Anime is different from movies and tv; the writers can create any world, any character and any mood that they want! ^^y It’s like you are in another world…you can easily lose yourself. The characters have funny and cute facial expressions. The stories are great and the scenes sometimes get ridiculous and hilarious that you can’t help but laugh laugh and laugh….I just love it!! ♥ Some stories have a strong sense of morality and the main characters always try their best to achieve their goals (even if they dn’t succeed at times) 🙂
